The SUNRISE project continues to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure across Europe.
Our RiBAC (Risk-Based Access Control) terminals, designed to manage access in response to pandemic threats, are now undergoing pilot testing in collaboration with our partners.
Pilot testing began in mid-July 2024. Our experts have participated in business trips, including to the University Medical Centre in Ljubljana, where we assisted with the setup of the terminals. Since the end of July, testing has also been underway at the Military University Hospital (ÚVN) in Prague, where we are monitoring the initial results and gathering valuable feedback.
Each installation requires specific adaptations of the terminals to meet the unique demands of the environment. For instance, in Ljubljana, the focus is on ensuring that doctors return used surgical gowns after leaving the operating room. Such customization is crucial to meet the specific needs of each setting.
The start of the pilot phase represents a key milestone in the project and is particularly important for verifying the functionality and reliability of the terminals in real-world environments. Through this testing, we are one step closer to deploying these innovative technologies across Europe, which will significantly enhance the safety and continuity of critical infrastructure operations.
