Our system for food vending machines can run on both food and beverage dispensing machines. It can therefore be used wherever bottles, draft drinks, biscuits, baguettes, chilled drinks, cold and hot meals, or small snacks are dispensed.

The individual user groups can differ based on dispensing rights and limits, subsidies, and consequently prices of dispensed products, access to individual products, etc.

In addition to the possibility of operating on different types of food vending machines, our system is also characterized by a high variability in terms of functionality. It can work with predefined templates for data processing, dispense food and drink according to set rules, be linked to an internal identification or catering system, work with discounts, allow recharging ID cards, and much more.

How can our system for food and beverage vending machines work in practice?

Your employee walks up to the vending machine, registers with their ID card, and the machine dispenses the food, drink or snack of their choice based on their assigned privileges. Everything is simultaneously recorded by the system and stored in a database where the issued food or drink is assigned to a specific user.

In another case, e.g. if the system is connected to your cafeteria’s internal catering system, the employee, after visiting the cafeteria’s ordering system, registers with the machine, which automatically dispenses the ordered food.

Another possible use is a special setting in case of hazardous situations. If, for example, the outside temperature and the temperature in the workplace exceed the set values, each employee is entitled to a special protective drink free of charge.

How is our system for vending machine management installed and how does its subsequent operation look in practice?

We start with an initial consultation to find out what type of vending machines you run, what your dispensing requirements are, and what our system needs to work with. Depending on the scale of the operation, we will then determine the number of components required, and agree on how to work with the data collected.

We will prepare a price offer for you along with the recommended ID technologies.

If necessary, we will prepare the connection of our system to one of your company modules.

FAQ

The purchase of each of our systems is always preceded by an individual price offer. The quotation is always based on the specific requirements and complexity of the customer’s wishes.

IMA specializes in access control systems and SW/HW development, not in reselling vending machines.

The vending machine can be connected via LAN (cable / Wi-Fi) or mobile LTE network. Due to easier connection to downstream ERP systems (cafeteria, attendance, etc.), we prefer installation on your corporate network and server. With sufficient mobile signal at the vending machine’s location, the system can be equally well operated on LTE connection with installation on a cloud server.

When it comes to data – from smart, stupid, beautiful, or ugly machines alike – we store them in an MS SQL database. Data between individual modules is transferred via secure channels.

On each of the vending machines, it is possible to set a critical level/amount of goods. When this level is reached, the system will send you an e-mail, bringing this fact to your attention.

The vending machine communicates this information by rejecting the transaction and illuminating the red light on the card reader. An explanatory message may also be displayed on the machine’s display.

Depending on the individual setting, the machine can dispense goods up to a strict limit set in parallel. Alternatively, the employee can ask the person with the card, who has the authority to authorize dispensing above the limit, for assisted dispensing from the vending machine.

In the case of a depleted credit, the employee can replenish the credit by putting a sum of money into the machine.
