About project

IMA received a grant from the TIP program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic for R&D project No.: FR-TI3/765 – “Modular wireless system for remote monitoring of patients and persons in healthcare, social services and homecare ” (BOS).

The aim of the project is the creation and verification of the modular wireless system for remote monitoring of patients and persons in healthcare, social services and home care. This system will expand the functionalities of the existing identification system IDSIMA K4 by adding the identification, localization and data collection of health data K4WEX. The system will be designed as a set of personal security sensors, wireless sensors for monitoring of various processes and the set of wireless routers and coordinator, communicating with sensors in the defined environment and locality. The wireless sensor network in managed by the coordinator, software for wireless system communication (SW, FW) and for collecting and processing of the personal data, things and environmental state, which can be further utilized mainly in the healthcare and home care (AAL). The pilot will be addressed to healthcare and homecare.

IMA will co-operate on the research with the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
