IMA received, within the first tender announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic from program Support for applied research and experimental development “TRIO”, support for research and development project no. FV10562 – “System for Process Monitoring with utilization modern tools for its optimalization” (SYMONPRO).
This innovative project is aimed at creating a generic system for monitoring and optimalization of production processes in industry. Research and development efforts will create a new universal identification system for the monitoring objects and people and visualization of collected data, which will become independent localization module of own identification and access system IDSIMA.
The fundamental innovation of existing products – cloud services will be developed complex server online solution for localization and tracking any entities based on the identification of objects and people via the NFC and Blootooth communication. The module will communicate with various data sources and storages, respectively superstructural systems for data presentation and analysis, including the specifications models of the behavior of individual elements.
For effective monitoring of entities we want to use mobile interactive terminals with operation system Android and to develop a static collection terminals with different communication interfaces. Within research will verified various possibilities od data transfer like technology of metallic connection (RS485, Ethernet), offline transfer via media or Low-Energy networks (ZigBee, iQRF, LoRa, SIGFOX).
Research and development will be focused on reducing the energy intensity of hardware components, as well as on procedures to refine the localization of the entity by selecting appropriate methods of signal strength measurement and the response time (Bluetooth, Zigbee DecaWave, UBISENSE…) and its practical implementation into the system. Partial aim is to build on previous research VUT in visualization and data processing area and implement them into commercial applications.
The system will serve to optimize production processes in industry, especially in factories, logistics centers and transport and it will be applied into other sectors and services.
